Haryana Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda said that the government aims to further enhance the standard of education in government schools. In this direction, 844 teachers have been promoted, including 4 to the position of Principal. Promotions for Block Education Officers (BEOs) and (DEOs) District Education Officers will also be done soon, and teacher transfers will be initiated shortly.

He informed that 35 Chemistry teachers and 18 Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) have been promoted to Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs). Besides this, One PGT each Sanskrit and English, and two Hindi have been promoted to the post of Principal. Similarly, 4 Commerce teachers, 207 in English, 1 in Geography, 203 in History, 137 in Political Science, 13 in Sociology, 150 in Sanskrit, 37 in Home Science, and 35 in Hindi have been promoted from TGT to PGT, shared the Education Minister.

Dhanda further stated that the government has completed infrastructural development in every government school across the state, and other issues will also be resolved soon. He said that under the National Education Policy, new curricula are being developed to equip students to face challenges effectively.

The Minister said that skill-based education will also play a crucial role in India's development, and curricula are being designed with that in mind. He said that in different phases, a transfer drive for all categories of teachers will be started soon.

Dhanda  said that a new Model Sanskriti School will be opened within every 10 km radius so that students can have access to improved education. The present state government envisions setting up e-libraries for students in government schools. In line with this vision, e-libraries will be established in 197 Government Model Sanskriti Schools and 250 PM SHRI schools, he said.
